is it possible to develop an allergy many years later?
Ive eaten chicken my whole life, even more than beef. (especially considering chicken is less expensive than beef) however ever since last year after being put under a lot of stress due to uni academic issues, ive notice either my tongue or upper lip get like, slightly burnt feel wise everytime i eat my usual boiled chicken in a sandwich.
doesnt always happens, but it happens frequently i feel, kind of. while there could be an overlap with the hot liquid i pair my chicken-containing meal, it has happened now that i recall before, with no hot liquids.
the latest allergies i developed were to apricots (though the cooked ones are fine as long theyre orange) and some berries (strawberry but apparently its mostly on jam format, which is bizarre to me still as i can eat some raw or 7 even on my smoothies.
what really freaks me out is that chicken is supposed to be considered hypoallergenic, so how on earth couldve i developed this? mind you, it wasnt gradual at all. it just happened so one day i feel this burn and itd repeat itself almost everytime i ate chicken.
