Single petal zinnias

Hi! I’m in 6b and have a zinnia question. After falling in love with zinnias several years ago I decide to add some of the “fancy” varieties to my garden. I spent a fair amount of money on several zinderella and Benary seeds. The vast majority of them haven’t even bloomed but the few that have looked absolutely nothing like the photos. They are sort of wonky single petal zinnias.
I also bought (from very reputable seed growers) some of the mixes (raspberry sorbet, key lime, bridal) that are all supposed to be fully double. While most of those are blooming they are all just single petal.
Then on the other hand my cheap Walmart purple prince and Oklahoma and queeny seeds are thriving ! So I don’t think it’s my soil or conditions. Any advice?

Little lime?

Last year I purchased a little lime hydrangea - but I think it may have been mislabeled. Do you think this is a little lime? I’m in CT 6b.

Is this a Thomasville Set - I can't find the table it anywhere?

I was thrilled to score this set on facebook marketplace. It was advertised as vintage Thomasville. To me, the brand doesn't really matter - this is more of a curiosity. I love all things bamboo but I haven't been able to find this table anywhere. Sorry the pics are what was advertised on FB and the base in my driveway after I took it apart. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Spilled wax in tile grooves

My husband didn’t realize a wax warmer was on and accidentally bumped it. I’ll be able to scrape it off of the face of the tile but the tiles with designs and depressions are killing me! Please help!

Direct Sow in June - 6B

Hi! For the first time this year - I did a cool flower raised bed. Now I'm trying to figure out what to direct sow (or maybe start some seeds now for planting in a few weeks) - I know zinnias are fast growers but does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks so much!

Grow Bag Aesthetic Question

In the grand scheme of the world today - this is hardly a big deal but I thought I would ask my fellow dahlia lovers. The sunniest part of my wooded lot is my deck. So this year I decided to do about 20 grow bags on my deck. Im in 6b so I am in various stages of barely a sprout to maybe 10 inches. I know they will be beautiful come September BUT right now the black felt grow bags look terrible. Any tips or ideas you all have done? I don't know if I should maybe lay them out uniquely or mix in a few ceramic pots? Any thoughts?

Flaking skin

I’ve recently started HRT (estrogen/progesterone). I thought this would help with my dry skin but somehow it’s 100 times worse. My skin is literally flaking off my legs. It looks like I haven’t ever used a lotion in my life. I am exfoliating, using oil while my skin is still wet after a shower and thick lotion. TMI, but when I take my pants off at the end of the day- there are skin remnants everywhere! Is this temporary?
