the Nightmares are Mimics
this requires me to explain a lot of things in a completely Meta out-of-universe way, so just bear with me
Firstly, The FNAF AR Animatronics are all Mimics because of the "New Multarticulus Model Delays" Email saying "The original [Mangle] was purportedly able to move along the ceiling, and from what I'm seeing here, we're having issues getting our rebuilds to even move on level ground properly." meaning the FNAF AR Mangle and assumingly all other characters are remakes, witch due to Occam's razor means they they are all Mimic endos
Secondly, the Blob is made of FNAF AR Animatronics, because the main Funtime Freddy head uses the FNAF AR Funtime Freddy head instead of the HW1 or HW2 Funtime Freddy Head, and there are 2 Bonnie right hands
Thirdly, the Mimic did not have a design until SB: Ruin, this is supported by Burntrap & the Blob using Glamrock Endos and Endo-01 being the endo icon in FNAF AR
And forthly, Scott was not being clear about what he wanted with the Mimic in HW1, which should be clear from the interviews and SB's everything
all that being said, why would Nightmare Endo, who has never been commented on until HW1 and then never again be so important that it is a selectable character in the Gallery over the 4 Phantoms, Endo-02, Paper Pals, Bidybab, Minireena, Helpy, & Coffee unless it was some type of placeholder or beta design for the Mimic Endo

TDH Coffee is Glitchtrap/M3
first off we know Glitchtrap has to be an "M3" because he asked to be let out, witch dosen't make sense with M1, M2, and M.X.E.S. because M1 and M.X.E.S. are free roaming and not trapped, and M2 is trapped but also unable to interact with Princess Quest so he has to be an independent "M3"
we know the Stay Up Latte has a version of Mimic Program in it to make custom coffee for people and there is a "prototype Stay Up Latte" in R&D (that looks like TDH Coffee) and Tape Girl describes that Glitchtrap was scanned in from "just junk- circuit boards and things like that" which is not how anyone would describe the supercomputers M1 and M.X.E.S. are in or the Mimic endo, but it would describe a broken coffee pot, especially if it was in a heep with a bunch of other computer adjacent garbage. What could have likely happened is when Afton was salvaging stuff from R&D (like M1) he also took TDH Coffee and used it. Being a Prototype and only ever interacting with Afton (with how I think the Mimic program works), it would start thinking like Afton to the point it would essentially become Afton
also the 2 other times TDH Coffee has been seen are in the 2 confirmed fully virtual games, FNAF World and Help Wanted 1
(if it matters, in The Desolate Hope, you play as D-Co 9 (Digital Counterpart 9), which is a virus made to deactivate the 4 other Derelicts. The body you are in is Coffee's who uploads its AI into Lun Infinus' computers and spends the entire game there, it's not that much of a stretch that Scott just reused Coffee's whole thing as a way to get rid of Glitchtrap)

literally all of the robots from the Remy's Carnival episode were reused in The Desolate Hope, except for the 3 explicitly named characters.
which is really odd, especially when some were shoehorned in like the 2 Sub-Games Enemies
