The Merak CD player by Fosi audio into the RH1 via Toslink.

I was wondering how well this combo was going to be. Turns out it’s actually a sweet combo!

Got to mess with the Merak Fosi CD player recently

Recently just got this “Modern” CD player. This thing is actually pretty cool. I’m really into archiving my CDs and also ripping CDs onto DAPs and especially Minidisc. Pretty cool to see a cd player with a usb c port haha

He practiced a lot of Spagyrics and had lots of content up on YouTube from 2020-2022 and then it all vanished. He also had an instagram and Facebook which had also vanished… the only thing I was able to find that’s left is on the WayBackMachine, showing his old blog. I tried to get as much as I could but most of the links there ended up being dead links. I remember almost all of his videos and I was so inspired from him. If anyone know of him or know what happened, I’d love to chat!
