Hello Ballarat!! My Mum moved to Ballarat from New Zealand a few years ago and would love to get some Vogel bread or a close equivalent.
Apparently Burgen bread is not as good, I’ve tried to order it online from the Kiwi Corner Dairy but shipping was $119!!!!
Hoping some fellow Kiwis in Ballarat or neighbouring towns have found something similar.

Hello, I’m hoping to find a solution to a gaping side zip on a dress I plan to wear for a wedding.
I believe it’s because of my body shape, having a short torso and high hips, meaning the zip is getting pushed up and out.
I have a decent amount home alteration experience but it’s all very amateur. I think this is probably beyond my skill level but am reluctant to get it altered professionally due to the cost.
I would love to be able to do it myself. A couple of ideas I thought may work/help:
- Shortening the twist strap to pull up the arm hole slightly. Unsure how easy this would be or how likely it would be that I ruin the twist design.
- Sewing a dart behind the zip to reduce amount of fabric under the arm. Not certain this would stop the gaping but might reduce it enough to be acceptable (for me)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
