Thoughts?

I was excited to try this French Curl style but I feel like I did something wrong towards the top of my heads as it looks VERY flat. What do y’all think??

Is it bad? Am I tripping? Any advice on how I can improve this look?

P.s. I think the side part looks better, but if I wanna go that route, I will need to redo the parting since I originally had it as a middle part.
