Need help determining traditional versus Roth (or both)

My employer offers both a traditional and Roth 401 with Vanguard- their match is 4% (I assume that applies to either). I am 31 and currently have just shy of $35k in my traditional 401k. I contribute enough each month to get the match (recently reduced it from 7% as I have to play catch up with savings). I make $82k/year.

Should I also be contributing to the Roth? I don't want to be missing out on any benefits of the account. FWIW, I have around $9k in my own personal Roth IRA with Schwab but I don't know if there are benefits to using my employer Roth instead. Thoughts? Should I stay the course or begin contributing to my employer Roth IRA too?

Increased damage or just flare up after activity?

I have not yet had MACI as I'm still on the fence, but I have diagnosed cartilage lesions in my right knee- medial patellar facet and trochlear groove. I've been managing well and pain has been minimal so I've put surgery off.

I attended a wedding a week ago and danced A LOT. Both knees were badly inflamed as a result (I'm a year out from ACL surgery on the left). I've gotten swelling down for the most part but there's lingering pain on the medial side of my right knee that wasn't there previously. This is the knee with the cartilage defects.

In your experience, could this be a flare up or could the lesions have gotten worse? I know I know, hard to say without a physical exam and only so little context, but I'm curious if this will work its way out or if I damaged it more.

If this pain persists I'd definitely be in touch with ortho about getting surgery 1 scheduled.

Inflammation after overuse

I am almost one year out from ACL surgery. Knees are generally okay, I've been in the gym and keeping active/maintaining my knee strengthening activities.

Over the weekend I danced for many hours at a wedding, and Sunday I woke up with sooo much inflammation in both joints. So much so I could really only bend to 90 degrees. For context, I have diagnosed cartilage defects in both knees (worse in my right). But again, not much pain in my day to day and I've been in the gym.

Since Sunday I have been doing the following to try and fight it:
-low level activity and movement
-ice
-elevate (like legs against the wall kind of thing)
-NSAIDs
-sauna

Additionally, most of the tightness and inflammation in my right knee seems to be coming from the area in the circle, not necessarily at the joint line. It's not golf ball sized, but almost feels like a knot.

So my questions are...

What else should I be doing to quell the inflammation? And at what point should I inform my doctor, if anything for a meloxicam Rx- one or two weeks perhaps?

Any ideas on the location of swelling/tightness in the right knee? I can't tell if a lot of this is soft tissue related, related to the cartilage issues or just simple overload from a long night of dancing.

Any ideas are super helpful here. Thank you!

Just purchased! Costco auto program

Just purchased my 2026 Hyundai Tuscon SEL AWD yesterday and I'm really excited as this is my first new car purchase ever at 31 years old.

Really pleased with the car. I used the Costco auto buyers program as I knew this is the car I wanted and I liked the no-hassle approach. Has anyone else used the Costco program and was pleased?

$5k down, 0% for 5 years. No add-ons, maintenance plan or extended warranty. Payment is about $489/mo.

I'm so excited!
