Hihiii so i have an idea what my type is but i'm not exactly stuck on one for sure, so I figured it'd be fun to see what you guys think.
I'd day I'm an ambivert leaning slightly introverted probably, I love going out and exploring/seeing new things but I also love staying at home and being comfortable ya know. I don't have many friends but I'm pretty friendly to everyone. The people that ARE my friends are typically super close (aka I've known my best friend for 8-9 years, I'm 19 and they're 18 lol). That said, i don't really tolerate much bs from people lol. I do try to solve interpersonal problems, but if someone else isn't cooperative then it's no longer my responsibility. When meeting new people in a group setting, I do tend to be quiet and observe them for a while first before I know how to behave around them lol. After that it's some trial and error but then it usually goes well. But I digress.
I like to think a LOT. I've been doing so since a very very young age due to lack of a social life back then lol. I pick up on complex concepts very quickly when theyre explained to me and can easily understand the relationships between things, but I'm very comfortable with ambiguity and subjectivity. Ofc I seek out new info, i just have this understanding that we don't actually know ANYTHING for sure and that things are constantly changing. I self label as a philosophical absurdist and subjectivist, as well as an agnostic pantheist if that gives any context even remotely. But anyways, I also understand feelings and emotions very well, even if I myself don't always feel the same way as someone else, i can understand why they would feel the way they do and how that came to be. Friends and family often come to me for advice and to vent.
Another random thing, I see beauty everywhere. Not in some naive way, but moreso something akin to Nietzsche's amor fati. If that makes sense.
I would say I'm typically easygoing socially, but not very impulsive. I tend to control my reactions to things a lot. like a LOT. I'm very conscious of how my behaviors affect others and myself. I like to try and preserve what good i have in my life rather than throwing it away over a petty remark on my behalf. Also HUUUUUGE fear of failure and making a fool out of myself lol, I'm slowly getting over that, but it's still a big thing for me.
I would say I'm messy in an organized way, I like having my stuff where I know I'll find it, it can look like a mess from the outside but it makes sense to me. Regarding planning, I like having options but I do typically have preferences in which ones appeal more to me. I'm decent at problem solving when I have all the info I need to do so.
Regarding hobbies and interests, I like photography, art (both observing and creating, I prefer pencil and watercolor separately when I make things), makeup, gardening when I can (currently growing a dragonfruit cactus in my kitchen), baking, cooking new things, exploration, thrifting and collecting vintage stuff, taking broken things apart simply to see the inside (took apart a coffee maker once, the heating element still works, the tubes the water went through were detached though lol), playing with ideas in my head, going to concerts/live music, solving problems just for the sake of doing so, personality quizzes, asking friends crazy questions along the lines of "If i was ______ what would i be and why? I think you'd be ______", gaming, perfume, discovering new music on spotify, watching niche movies. Oh and i collect crystals and other assorted trinkets. OH AND I LOVE ASTRONOMY. I've loved astronomy since I was little, it's sooooooooooo interesting to me.
Regarding my career/education, I dropped out of highschool at 17 and have been procrastinating my GED bad. I've finally got a laptop to take online classes though so that's a plus. I'm currently unemployed, I plan on applying at a makeup store just because I already have some decent knowledge there, but what I want to be ultimately ended up being between a florist and a welder working for the railroad. One of those is more easily attainable than the other though lmao. There are so many things I've wanted to be. But it's come down to those. I've got my whole life though, who knows what'll happen.
Oh also favorite color's green, I prefer silver jewelry to gold. I like trying new foods but my favorites are the potato soup my grandpa used to make, dutch oven chicken he used to make as well, sushi, or chicken pad thai from a restaurant I live near. I'm not very picky with food at all and love trying new things while also clinging to old ones as favorites. My favorite weather is between stormy and light rain with sun peeking through the clouds. Favorite scent would have to be my grandma's basement or lilac flowers. I still have my childhood stuffed animal and it's my favorite thing I own. Hmmmm what else. Appearance matters to me quite a bit, though so does comfort. Fave animal has to be bears. Fave song currently has to be Black and White by Rainbow Kitten Surprise, though I listen to just about anything genre wise and have a vast collection of music lol. Uhmmmmmmmmmm that's about it I think, nothing else is coming to mind currently, but it probably will later after this is already posted lol.
