I mean honestly. Our family has 1 car and it’s older and we park in the garage. We had a neighbor blocking our driveway and I went out to ask him to move and he was like “oh, we thought no one lived here because there are never cars in the driveway” and I was like, it’s because it’s in the garage. He then asked how we only have one car and I was like, because I don’t need more?

We talked for a minute after that and then I realized we are literally the only house on our whole street who doesn’t have 2+ cars in the driveway. I told my husband we may need to buy another car to fit in haha.

I need help! My sister has been requesting Doctor Who Tardis Socks for years and I finally am comfortable enough to make them. The yarn I previously bought for them (forever ago) was Knitpicks Comfy in Celestial for the blue and now they discontinued the color in that specific yarn.

What is everyone’s favorite sock yarn that may have a nice tardis blue color? I am hoping for something not too expensive as I am on a pretty big budget but definitely need the fingering weight and soft if possible (she has sensory challenges).

I have been making my first pair of socks and I am absolutely in love with the yarn. I was thinking toy myself last night I would love a sweater made with the same yarn. Has anyone done this? Used sock weight yarn to make a sweater and if so how did it go? Thank you!

My husband and I are going to dinner at Goodyear House for dinner Saturday and when we made the reservation it said street parking but I feel like I remember there being a lot across the street. Can anyone give me some insight on the parking situation? We just want to make sure we get there in enough time to find parking if it’s only street on a Saturday night.

There is a super scared skittish little white chihuahua that has been running around our subdivision all day and no one can catch it because it’s so scared (and fast). Is there anywhere that we can post about the found dog in case the owner is looking for it?? We are pretty sure he got out during the storm last night and non of the neighbors seem to know the dog. Like I mentioned, no one can catch the poor little guy or even get close to him. We only know the gender because he was laying in someone’s driveway. He also has no collar.

I have only ever played as Ravenclaw and my kiddo helped me with the sorting in the new game we got Hufflepuff. I just need to say this, I am obsessed with their common room!!! Oh my gosh it’s so Hobbit coded and I love it.

**update: thank you everyone for the info! Coming from a place that doesn’t do fireworks I appreciate knowing it’s for pretty much all holidays! (My kid is going to be thrilled haha)

Ok weird question, we heard loads of fireworks last night and we moved from an area where they are 100% illegal year round and so naturally only really heard them on the 3rd and 4th. How long before the 4th should we expect to be hearing them and how long after? I really don’t mind I just want to make sure I am preparing my reactive pup so she’s not constantly stressed out.

We moved into a house with a dead tree (had no idea it was dead) and now the HOA is telling us we have to replace it. It’s a really small tree (like a new one that was planted and just didn’t take) and they want to charge us $1000 to replace which is ridiculous. Does anyone have any recommendations for a plant nursery that sells trees and also would be able to plant it for us?
