I’ve only had the little robot for a few days and I’ve since worked on getting her comfortable with it by giving her treats near it but now she’s playing in it rather than using it as a bathroom. She’s still using the old litter box for relieving herself. Any suggestions on how to correct this?
First time cat owner. I have a kitten that is about 16 weeks old. She likes to cover her poop with the litter but will sometimes step in it during the process. What’s the best type of litter to prevent her stepping in it? i.e., small grain vs larger grain?
I’m a new cat owner, only had my kitten about a month now and am thinking of getting the Litter Robot. I’m debating over whether to get the LR4 vs LR5. Does anyone know if either model is better with odor control? Also wondering if one model is easier to clean and maintain than the other? Since this is my first cat, I’ve been pretty paranoid about smell and have been scooping multiple times a day. I also noticed that her litter box doesn’t smell nearly as much since I’ve started giving her higher quality food. Would the newer model really make a big difference when considering smell and maintenance?
