50 days 24.5oz Greencast Jeans

I’m now at day 50 of fading these monstrous jeans that I made for myself!! This fabric is very special, being a 24.5oz greencast broken twill crosshatch selvedge. These jeans have had 2 soaks, 2 sea soaks, and 2 washes. One of the soaks was unintentional when I was out gardening and it started down pouring. Didn’t let that stop me though!! Loving the honeycombs so far!!

Reworked Levi’s Jeans

I’m out of fabric and I’m broke, but I desperately want to work on a project! What do I do? I thrift a pair of raw black Levi’s in a size 44x32 and reworked the entire garment with my own pattern. I’m very pleased with the result!

Edit: I forgot to mention that I had to use scrap black denim from previous projects to have enough space to cut out the back pockets, pocket facings, fly guards, and leg extensions.

1 Month 24.5oz Self-made Greencast Jeans

Just reached a month of wear on these jeans that I made for myself! They are made of a 24.5oz greencast broken twill crosshatch denim from pacific blue mills. This pair has been through 1 soak, 1 sea soak, and 1 wash. I’m storing a miniature horseshoe in my watch pocket to create fades with! So far, the honeycombing and whiskering is starting to become defined. Wearing these on a nearly day-to-day basis has been so rewarding!! I’m so excited to see how this pair continues to fade.
