Why can't I get the "gladius" achievement?

The achievement just says "win a solo game on ultra hard difficulty or higher" and the guides say it is "self explanatory". First I just set the impossible difficulty took many bots in my team and set only one enemy. I won and it didn't work so I thought maybe "solo" means not "not in multiplayer" but "without teams" too, so I made a 1 vs 1 game, won it and still got nothing. I won a solo game on ultra hard difficulty or higher, literally did it, word by word and nothing. Why? Maybe for 1 vs 1 you necessarily must play on a tiny map, or your level must be normal and only the enemy is impossible, or you are prohibited to start with all the technologies known from the start but the achievement's description says nothing about it

How to win the game? How I understand this, though I don't know from where, you should achieve some aspect level 25 by writing in your journal and use a numen when you do it. And then when it's numa you should throw the journal into the ocean, is this correct? Must you first make your journal aspected (by writing in it with aspect 20+) first or is it unnecessary? Could you use any aspect that fits one of the numen's or only the one with which you aspected your journal? And some numens have text like "a cartographer may achieve a special victory with this one" is there some special achievement if you use a special numen for your victory that fits your origin story?

And about the institute. Can I be locked away from certain lighthouse policies because I chose wrong options in the affairs? Do you just need to put any 6 inspired guys in there and that's all? Would it need something else?

Is there a way to get rid of the letter to the librarian?

I got it when I started playing, then I got another one because "you didn't answer for a long time, here is another one" I answered it and the other stayed with me. I can't throw it away though it says I can, I can't reply it and send, tens of hours have left and I'm still stuck with this letter. How to get rid of it?
