Why do acne marks take so long to fade after 30s?

I actually started getting adult acne in my early 20s, and it's been an ongoing struggle ever since. Now that I'm in my mid 30s, honestly the acne marks are what bother me the most.

The breakouts themselves are annoying, but the marks take forever to fade now compared to when I was younger.

Curious if anyone else feels the same.

When did you start getting acne, and what's your biggest acne-related concern now?

What's your favorite summer sunscreen for dehydrated oily skin?

I have dehydrated oily skin and have been using the Round Lab sunscreen for a while. It worked really well during spring, but now that the weather is getting hotter, it's starting to feel a bit heavier during the day.

These days my morning routine is usually just toner -> serum -> sunscreen. Because anything too heavy makes my skin feel greasy by lunchtime 🥲

I'm not really looking for a super matte sunscreen since those somehow make my skin feel even more dehydrated later on.

I think I want something lightweight but still hydrating enough for summer weather.

For people with dehydrated oily skin, what K-beauty sunscreens have you been liking lately?
