How to fight enemy teams which play in close formation?
I am having difficulties fighting teams which are constantly in tight formation (but not balled up). I can't find an opening to move in and pick one to eliminate. As soon as I dive in or flank them from a corridor/side room, 3 or 4 of them are almost immediately able to react since they were already relatively close to each other. One example would be fighting on Dorado, attack. It often happens that the defending team has a very tight grip on the portion between the arch and our spawn. I try several angles but, as mentioned before, I can't find enough space to get one or two and leave without getting smoked by the rest of the team.
Now, I am still relatively new to Doom, I have much to learn and I go from decent games to matches that are hot garbage, but this is something I have been struggling with for while. Any tips would be appreciated.

I am still relatively new to Doomfist, it was really fun catching that Pharah ultimate just in time. (Recorded from a replay file)
Possible lag when cancelling abilities
When I use an ability, such as Rein's charge or Doom's slam, and I try to cancel it, 80% of the times when I press the key the game won't acknowledge it and I am forced to press the key again several time before the canceling occurs (sometimes I even have to spam said key before the game reacts).
I don't have any apparent connection problems (my latency is between 30 and 40), my FPS are stable at 60± and I haven't noticed any difficulties when first activating an ability. So it seems to be a specific problem when cancelling an ability.
Does anyone have a similar issue? Is there any specific step I can take to smooth the problem? Thank you.
TIL: Before joining the army, Reinhardt played a major role in two famous animation films!
I didn't recognise him at first with that glorious haircut and light makeup!
