First match, I lost. Enemy Doom was being toxic at the end and developed a huge ego. Very condescending, including saying "You'll get there one day, Doom." His duo was also being toxic. Requeued, and here's how the following match went:
I main both and its rare to see a good venture but i always win with them. If i had to pick one dps to dive with against double hitscan it would be them.
I dont know if its just me but I feel my accuracy has gone down and I'm landing less, I don't know if they did anything I didnt read the patch notes but I feel like I should be hitting punches that I'm not. Idk I'm just learning to be more accurate now but I feel they changed something or I'm just bad idk
so i fought several doom mirrors today, but the thing is i never had an actual chance to fight the other doom, the team was doom, cass, torb, mizuki and wuyang. but the whole time i was being countered while doom got the final hit. does that even count? genuine question.
It is so exhausting playing solo queue and every other game getting a 3-5 stack of gms rolling us. Some may say "just play in a stack yourself." NO! Im higher ranked than all my friends and the stacks that I do end up in a team with are all gangbanging pricks who cant take eachother accountable and blame the solo queue doom main like he didnt carry. Also, why is it always the players with fancy GM titles in a low masters game the ones who always suck and are the most toxic? Truly puzzling
I've accepted that Emerald rank is populated 50% by people suffering from a brain-eating parasite and 50% by filler accounts put here to pad the queue times.
I’m a Doom main. I had competent supports this game and kept my deaths to a minimum, but my DPS could not wrap their head around the concept of not having a stationary meat-shield in front of them 24/7.
After a hard-fought first round on defense, we moved to attack. I asked them in chat to please not just let the enemy team hold cap for free without pushing up. Their actual response? "Just don't let them touch."
Then, predictable as clockwork:
They refused to walk past the first doorway.
They stood in the choke and got farmed on cooldown.
I was forced to repeatedly dive straight onto point solo just to trigger a contest and force the enemy team to rotate back, because otherwise my team would literally just watch the match end from the spawn exit.
Despite me creating space, our Torb finished 18-12 and our Pharah ended 15-14, and naturally, the entire loss was pinned on me for not standing in front of them absorbing spam.
Does this ever end, or is this just the perpetual Overwatch rank experience?

I’d appreciate anyone taking a look at the replay to tell me what I could have done differently to carry this, or if I'm just doomed to rot in Emerald until I learn how to mind-control my team.
Seen a lot of debate going around if emp punch is a good addition to tank doomfist or not since it's released? Some say it's op because you get it by just standing still blocking and get an ez teamwipe which people think its boring and bucthered his identity. I also see people say to remove it entirely and add back uppercut (ofc all doomfist suggestions needs to sneak in uppercut asp).
Well for me, it's a strong addition and fun asf to land. Especially a quad emp punch (no other feeling you can do in this game will top this one). Yes i miss dps doomfist. Yes i miss uppercut. But when reworking him into a tank, he needs some defensive cd and also a reward (which is emp punch) to balance his sudden role change.
What're y'all thoughts?
Im new to playing doom so Im not sure if this is an issue for most people but I feel like everytime I play doom (regardless of solo or grouped) I always have like 2-3 people on the other team immediately swap to counter me. Doesn’t matter if Im even doing good or not, I get through 1 or 2 team fights then it’s straight to a sombra or an orisa or hog. Just wondering if this happens to anyone else, bc I love playing him but what’s the point if I won’t even be able to play him effectively?
