NFS MW 2012 is my first NFS game and I feel in love with it. Any recommendations for what game I should play next?

I have NFS Heat and Unbound on my steam library beacuse I got them when they were on sale. I also want to try NFS MW 2005 since everyone says its the best game in the series.

Reasons why I quit Brawl Stars after 7 years of playing. (Read desc.)

This game gets worse with every update. The developers seem to be doing everything they can to squeeze every last bit of money out of their players. So I've finally decided to quit, and here are my exact reasons why:

1. Every new brawler is overpowered on release.

Every new brawler is overpowered when released so that more players are encouraged to buy them. Then, after some time, they get nerfed, meaning free-to-play players don't get the chance to enjoy them while they're overpowered like players who paid for them did. And I'm tired of the developers justifying it by saying, "Making a balanced brawler is hard." No, it's not. You just don't test your game, which brings me to my next point.

It honestly feels like the developers don't know their own game, which is understandable because they don't need to make their job their whole life. It's fine if they don't play it all the time. But that's exactly why you have testers—to test your damn game. And don't tell me that a multi-million-dollar company can't afford six testers to properly test new brawlers and features before release.

2. Buffies.

At first, I thought Buffies were going to be an interesting new feature. But oh boy, was I wrong. They're just another pay-to-win mechanic that nobody asked for.

First, they rework a brawler so their gadgets become aimable, which most of the time actually makes those gadgets worse. For example, Colt's Speedloader gadget used to instantly reload two ammo. Now, with Buffies, it fires two projectiles that only restore ammo if they hit an enemy. You can't seriously tell me that's an improvement.

But what if the reworks actually make the gadgets stronger? Well... then they become so overpowered that they're simply toxic and unhealthy for the game.

Bull can now stun you after using his Super. Edgar gets an additional jump. Max literally received Surge's old teleport gadget—the one that was removed because the developers couldn't figure out how to properly balance it—which makes the whole situation pretty hilarious. And it's not even the first time they've brought back something they previously removed for being too overpowered and given it to another brawler. As for Surge... I'm not even going to mention what he was capable of after getting his Buffie.

Then the nerfs happen, which should be a good thing, right? No. Because instead of nerfing the Buffies that made these brawlers overpowered, they nerf the brawlers themselves. That's incredibly unfair to players who don't even own Buffies because they can't afford them.

Another issue is that instead of releasing Buffies for every brawler—or at least most of them—in one big update, they only release Buffies for six brawlers every two months. It's the Hypercharge situation all over again. We'll probably have to wait another year or more before every brawler gets one.

And every time new Buffies are released, those brawlers immediately become top-tier, only to be forgotten once the next batch comes out.

On top of that, you can't even buy the Buffie you actually want. Instead, you have to gamble with the claw machine and hope you get one for your favorite brawler.

3. Every update feels rushed.

Probably because it is.

Every single update introduces bugs—not one or two, but dozens of them. Some are so obvious that they would have been fixed if someone had simply tested the game.

But maybe the real issue is that the developers don't even have time to do proper testing because they're constantly working under impossible deadlines.

Every month we get a new season theme, new skins, a new brawler, another early access event, new lobby music, a new promotional animation, and often a new game mode, temporary event, or even a brand-new feature or rework.

I honestly wish they would slow down. I think the game would benefit from fewer but more polished updates, especially when it comes to releasing new brawlers. There are already over 100 of them, and it's becoming obvious they're running out of ideas because some newer brawlers just feel like combinations of older ones.

4. They replace or add features that make the game worse just to earn more money.

A perfect example is the Oddities Shop.

They removed the option to buy cosmetics directly from the Catalogue, which was honestly one of the best updates this game ever received. You could buy any pin, spray, profile icon, or skin whenever you wanted.

Now you have to pray that Juju's shop gives you a good offer.

"Oh, but now you can also buy Mythic and Legendary skins."

Sure... but have you seen the prices? They're ridiculous, in my opinion.

And what about pins? I loved getting pins for my favorite brawlers. In the Catalogue, I could simply buy the ones I wanted. Now I either have to get lucky with Starr Drops or hope that some pin will appear in Juju's shop.

An even better example is Records.

This is easily one of the worst updates they've ever made. They removed Masteries, which were an excellent source of resources for free-to-play players. You could earn guaranteed Coins, Power Points, and even Credits to unlock new brawlers faster.

But apparently that was too generous. We can't let players have nice things.

So instead they introduced Records, which are basically Masteries except every reward is a random Starr Drop. Maybe a Legendary one if they're feeling generous.

Their explanation was: "We noticed that not many players completed Masteries, so we assumed they didn't enjoy them."

No shit, Sherlock.

That was literally the point of Masteries.

The resources were in the early levels, while Gold III was there for players who really wanted to show their dedication to a specific brawler. Obviously not everyone wanted to grind all the way to Gold III—and that was perfectly fine because that was exactly how the system was designed.

At least they made the "Bye Bye Masteries" event, which was really beneficial for everyone, so I'll give them credit for that.

But the funniest part is that when they introduced Prestiges, they literally swept Records under the rug because even fewer people wanted to grind them. What's the point of spending hours grinding if your reward can be a Rare Starr Drop containing 50 Coins? That's simply not worth the effort.

And then there's Mega Pig.

They removed Club League, which was one of the most free-to-play-friendly features in the game. By actively playing, you could earn lots of Club Coins and exchange them for valuable resources and exclusive skins.

Instead, they replaced it with a boring game mode that feels like a chore and gives random rewards that usually aren't worth the hassle.

I could criticize Supercell and Brawl Stars even more, but I think I've made my point.

If you still enjoy the game, then good for you—keep playing it.

Thanks for reading, and have a nice day.
