Anywhere 1st big ride

I have had my Lauf Anywhere for years and put a ton of miles on it. This was my first multi day ride of 350miles and she performed perfect. As I’m starting to get older I do fear the race setup will not last for me so maybe looking into a fork that will allow for a higher stack height or a new build of a TI bike but for now I am very happy.

Camp Snap Pro

All photos are unedited with the exception of what preset filters come on the camera. All 3 of these were shot in either VTG1 or VTGI2. From this page I seen on other campsnap cams you can upload different filters can you do the same with the pro? I am a big fan of the Kino filter but does not seem to be available for the pro.

Im no stranger to working a camera. I have had a DSLR camera for years but 3 things have drawn me into to campsnap.

  1. the ease of use and lack of options. Makes shooting feel like when I was a kid with a cheap throwaway camera.
  2. I bought this for a big bike packing trip I’m doing. I want to stay off my phone but still capture stuff. This eliminates the need to keep taking photos and trying to get the perfect frame. I’ll snag a few shots and keep on moving.
  3. BY FAR the moray important. I wanted the look of film without actually having to buy a film camera. I was about to purchase the Ricoh iii because it did exactly what I wanted but for $1300 I would then be worried about A dropping it on the bike and B giving it to the kids to play with. And honestly I love being able to give them the camera and letting them take pictures of what they like.

Any advice is appreciated and happy shooting everyone

Disc conversion

Hey everyone, I have a 65 Chevelle that currently has drums all around. I am Looking for any input on this kit or a kit you specifically have used. I want to do all 4 wheels as disc. When I called and asked about replacement parts (meaning if I need to buy new pads/rotors in the future can I just go to my local auto parts store) they said yes that should not be a problem but could not tell me what vehicle I would be looking to get parts for. I just don’t want to be locked in with only buying from one specific company. I would love to go wileood or brembo but I’m looking to do the whole conversion for less than $2k. Any advice or input is appreciated

Is this okay?

Got a new sink the other day and the sink drain is centered vs the old sink being a duel drain configuration. I had about a 8” gap from the P trap to the sink drain I had to make up.

I cut a few pieces and added a coupling. Everything is draining okay and no leaking but I have a feeling the configuration I made up is not correct... but it works. I have a -1deg slope on the horizontal piece.

I have a company scheduled to come out tomorrow

  1. I hate paying anyone to do anything but I know I’m not a plumber 2) although it’s working with no issues right now am I just asking for issues in the future.

I have 12 girls and they lay wonderfully. Just curious how many eggs a day do you eat?

I give away cartons to my friends and coworkers but on a regular basis I have more eggs than I know what to do with. I cook 5 for breakfast for just me everyday and it does not even remotely put a dent in them.

Almost 2 weeks ago I posted in here asking for advice on a 5th gen or 6th gen. I read every comment and gave her the ultimate decision even though I was sold on going with a 5th gen. I told her any car under $60k I would buy her and she stuck with wanting a 5th gen in army green. About 8hrs in driving to find the right one but here it is. 2022 with 41k miles and CPO.

Now I’m having to hold back on wanting to buy things for it.
