Somebody send some rain and some decent weather

Miserably hot in NWA, and this heat is KILLING the lawn. There really isn’t enough water to keep it fully green 😂

Has anyone had luck with granular hydration supplements?

Arkansas heat advisory is no joke to lawns. Even after a good water, she’s still struggling.

Heigh of Cut Reset

Was gone for 10+ days, so instead of trying to salvage I decided to go as low as I could for a HOC reset and dropped some 10-10-10 to get her back. Definitely seeing some heat stress, but hopefully we get the forecasted rain to drop tomorrow and come back even better in NWA. If you zoom in you can see a lot of seed heads and some areas that needed a bit of tlc.

How would you extend this patio? Looking for a spot to hang out and enjoy the outside year round (fire pit and shade for summer and winter)

Looking for some recs on size, and materials.

Good from far, but far from good?

Just not getting the thickness and deep green that I saw last year. Hit it with some liquid iron about 2 weeks ago, just hit my 3rd app of 20-0-0 for the year (may, June, and July beginning of the month) and have been making sure it’s gotten roughly an inch of water a week. Any advice? Anyone else in Northwest Arkansas seeing this same thing?

Reaping the benefits.

About 2 weeks post leveling. My 4 year old thought he was going to have a beach forever. He was mad when it started to disappear, but now he’s just as excited to sit and hang in the grass and do nothing. Not here for a perfect yard, just here to give him the yard I didn’t have growing up.

Fresh cut, we’re so close.

Arkansas been feeling the heat the last couple of days. I don’t mind it one bit though. Just need this sand to fall into place because I’m sick of vacuuming the house.

12 hours later, but we did it. Bentonville better get some rain tomorrow.

6 tons, no gorilla cart, no drag. Just a wheelbarrow, shovel, and leveling rake. Why did I do this to myself?
