[Pacific Rim] Why doesn’t Gipsy Danger use the floppy sword in every single fight?

In the fight against Otachi, it brings Gipsy Danger up to the sky and they have to deploy their floppy sword to kill the Kaiju. When they use it, it easily slices the kaiju in half. Why do they bother with punching and weird plasma weapons when they can slice a kaiju in half with ease?

TL;DR Varlamore really good content

I’ve been playing Runescape on and off for around 17 years across multiple accounts. I’m maxed in RS3 and never really gave OSRS a fair shot. I decided to give Leagues a chance with some friends who play and it’s been incredibly fun (I’m at T7 with 22k points)

Varlamore is soooooo fucking good. An entire continent, accessible at low levels, where you can train basically every skill. It’s RS3 is a game where you can teleport to basically any tile in the game, but in OS you have to actually walk through the environment and experience it - Varlamore is gorgeous, vibrant, varied, and feels like it was made big because it was needed for all the content, not big for the sake of being big (looking at you, Anachronia). The bosses there are a ton of fun with cool (and useful) drops, Moons of Peril being infinitely farmable without having to leave is awesome, there’s shops for everything you need, blessed bone shards making pray training much more accessible, resource nodes of multiple different tiers for all the gathering skills, there’s an easy method for Runecrafting xp, there’s a cool Agility course, there’s minigames/D&Ds (I love the design of Vale Totems and Hunter rumors). The Quetzals are pretty neat and remind me of Gnomecopters. I just love all of Varlamore. It makes me want to continue to play Old School after Leagues ends and just park my account in Varlamore to see how far I can get

(Obviously, the significant boosted xp rates from Leagues could be muddying the waters on my perception of how good Varlamore is, but from a content perspective it’s pretty top notch)
