DIY HRT Guide for Trans Girlies in Myanmar

Hey everyone! I’m not an expert by any means, but I've noticed a lot of trans girls and femboys in Myanmar doing DIY HRT without proper knowledge things like taking extremely low doses, misreading blood test results, and other common mistakes.

To help keep our community safer, I put together a harm reduction guide for all the girlies out there who want to do PILL ROUTE ( This is not an injection guide ) . It covers recommended dosages, reliable sources, and what to watch out for.

For all the details, check it out here:

My school kept forcing me to cut my hair

So basically, I'm a closeted trans girl. I have dysphoria and other stuff that makes my brain... not a fun place to be. Not wanting to cut my hair sounds silly to some people, but my hair is mine. It's the one thing I've managed to hold onto. The one thing that feels like me.

I live in Myanmar, not exactly the most accepting place, and government schools have this strict hair rule that's basically a buzzcut factory. I grew my hair out anyway. Long. And then final year started this month. Day one, the hair police came for me. I got pulled into the principal's office.

We talked. I gave her the tiniest peek into my mental health, hoping she'd be human about it. I promised I'd cut my hair at the end of June. Just kicking the can down the road. She said okay.

Now June is knocking on the door, and they dragged me back in. "This weekend. Cut it." They said it's not fair to the other students, that I'm getting special treatment. I didn't tell them more about my mental state because last time I tried, they gossiped about it behind my back. I noticed.

They told me to just survive one year with short hair. But I've only been this unstable for five months and I already keep thinking about disappearing. One year feels like a different lifetime.

After that meeting, I was... not okay. On the way home, there's a river. I walked toward it. My friends stopped me. They knew exactly what was in my head.

My hair is stitched into my mental health. It's the only thing that makes me feel a little bit real. There's only this weekend before I have to show up at school again. I don't want to fight. I'm so tired already. Adding more weight just feels impossible.

I thought about running away, but I spent my money on DIY HRT supplies, and honestly, traveling alone in Myanmar right now is dangerous. I just... what do I even do? Is there an option I'm not seeing?
