Hello reddit, I got hired on American Cruise Lines and I leave Monday for Salt Lake City for training. Im really not sure what I should pack and im also confused on what uniform items do I need to buy before hand, and what they provide for me (im hired as a server). Anyone who worked for this cruise line before if you have any advice on what to bring and what not to bring it would be really helpful. Thanks so much.

I have an employment offer with American Cruise Lines and I found a copy of my background check that they ran. Everything including the drug test came back clear except for my driving record which was orange and had a "consider" instead of a clear. Its not like im driving the boat so is that something they actually consider as I wont be driving any vehicles? Or will that stop me from getting employed?

Hello, the situation im in is essentially that I have lots of debt mostly medical debt thats in 3rd party collections (probably around 75k), credit cards (probably 2k), a repossession that im being sued for at the moment (20k), and other miscellaneous debts. Im not married and have no children. I cant afford to pay these debts back as im drowning as is. People are starting to sue me. Bankrupcy attorneys are way to expensive and I dont have the means to hire one. Any ideas as to what I can do? I dont want my wages to be garnished as ill be in the negative every paycheck if they do. Could I possibly file it by myself without an attorney? Thank you in advance

Has anyone else noticed there DSP has had a lot of route cuts? Im getting cut once a week at this point and its not due to performance. I finish early daily and sometimes rescue as well. I also havent gotten a violation. but am consistently getting cut every Thursday. Has anyone else noticed there DSP doing this or is it just the DSP im working for?
