Just finished the season 2 finale. I have NO CLUE WHERE THIS IS GOING!!!!!

Everyone is going to be sick of me, but come onnnnnnnnnnnnn. The end of S2 Ep 7 when he goes home and the stove is on and >!Ronnie is burnt on the floor.!<

I mean, WHAT! there’s almost so much going on constantly that I forgot about Armadillo this whole episode until this part! And then I was yelling out loud at the tv.

My god, I love this show so much I can’t even believe it 😅😅😅

I’m a hoe for a good montage scene. In S2 E3 opening, they have “Breakdown” by Tantric playing (great song, btw) and I just noticed a really cool part that I’m sure they timed up purposely, but nonetheless it was cool. Vic is looking in the mirror in his house covered in the blood after leaving Armadillo’s place and the lyrics are as below while he’s looking at himself:

You're losing it

I mean, after this past episode and everything going on with Vic, very cool line up lyrically as if the song is speaking directly to him. This show is so fucking awesome

DUDE, >!DANNY SHOT AND KILLED THE NEIGHBOR GUY AND T.O. GOT MURDERED!< in S2 Ep2!!!???? This show is stressing me out lol I NEVER see any of these crazy twists coming. God I fucking love this show.

Okay, apologies in advance if I keep posting lol but I am constantly shocked at this show. >!What do you mean Ben just shot Jesus because he saw him in the hit and run!< !< I did NOT expect that. Damn. Constantly shocking me! Had to run right here.

Also, the last episode of season 1 with the >!cop killings!< Wild.

What a great episode. I just started my first watch through and I am OBSESSED. It just keeps getting better every episode. I also felt like a proud mom when they were all clapping for Dutch after he walks out of the interview room. Good stuff.

Nothing to really say other than probably the best pilot episode I’ve ever seen.

Anyone restart their dose after having surgery? Did you stay at the same dose as pre surgery?

This book is so much fun. Not to mention the amount of times I’ve genuinely LOLed. Very witty. I find that’s pretty difficult to make a horror book also funny. Reminds me of Widow’s Bay in that sense. Anywho, just a shoutout to this book for taking me out of my indecisive reading rut that was really ruining my vibe! What a great little book.

Looking for a well written book that delves into small town horror (seaside or not, doesn’t matter). Very similar to Widow’s Bay in the sense that something is terribly wrong and there are forces overtaking the island/town, etc.

Harvest Home came to mind but I have read it (and loved it). Just keeping that something creepy and eerie is happening here vibe.

In a bit of a reading rut. I had a bunch of books I was looking forward to reading, but for whatever reason I don’t feel any type of pull at the moment to any of them.

I’m thinking Blackwater by McDowell? It’s been on the back burner for a while and I feel like it might be a good summer read. Anyone have opinions to push me either way!?
