How long does battery last?

I am back to using Ring (battery doorbell pro, newest model). Previously the battery on my ring doorbell would go down about 1% a day and that would last me about 2 1/2 to 3 months before I had to recharge it.

With the new batter doorbell pro the battery seems to be a little bigger and here I ams almost two weeks into using it and the battery still shows at 100%.

Is the battery life that much better with the newer model?

Funny thing happened

I was watching Star Trek's recent episode and they asked the computer for help. I have my unit set up to use computer for the wake word and I am subscribed to the emergency help. My unit asked if I wanted to connect with the help center to have an emergency response but I stopped it in time. HOWEVER my emergency contact was messaged and they called me immediately asking if I needed help and I had to explain how watching Star Trek caused my unit to attempt to call for help.

I have changed my wake word to echo for now to ensure that this won't happen agains.

Trailer hitch installation

Thinking of getting a trailer hitch installed. Are there any pros/cons with having the dealership do it over U-Haul (other than the cost)?

Blue light on Ring Doorbell

Thinking of switching back to Ring. Need info on different Ring devices.

I know on the battery powered Ring devices that are connected to a constant power source then the blue light is on constantly (I know that my neighbors HATED my Ring devices whenever they saw this). Is this still the case. Does the wired doorbells do the same thing?

I got tired of getting dirty looks from my neighbors whenever they saw the constant blue light so I tired something else, fewer dirty looks however the quality isn't quite as good and the user interface is better with Ring.

Ceramic tint costs

Thinking of getting ceramic window tinting for heat control during the summer time. Has anyone had it done and what are the approximate costs of doing this?

Is every device going to ads now?

I just asked Alexa a very simple question and what I got was it telling me about the most popular product in the category of what I was asking about and not answering my question at all. This is the first time that has happened to me. Is amazon now inserting spoken ads into requests for information?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a ling or EDC bag for this? I'm still using my old pack that carried my laptop and I want something a little more compact and lighter to carry.

Twice since I've bought my 2026 Sport hybrid I've had my car refuse to start until I press the Honda emblem on the key fob against the start button.

Anyone know why this randomly does this and what the purpose is of it?
