Last night I was playing the all-role queue so I could harvest the coveted 4-games exclusive role. Unfortunately, the matchmaker placed me on Mid role, which I dreaded and have no clue on playing 1v1. (I am sorry I lost the match because I really suck, sorry to my team). I felt bad because I was manhandled easily by experts on Mid.
Anyway, as I was doing the maths, it came to my realization that there are games that I should play a difficult role like Carry or Mid and will eventually lose. I really am sorry if I underperform. I was unfamiliar.
I was also playing Offlane but I am not comfortable but getting used to it somehow. Just slightly. :) but way more efficient in pos 5.
For Hard support enjoyers here, which way do you prefer:
Harvest role queue token - get your role guaranteed or
Stick to high-demand role - 50% chance to get your role guaranteed

What exactly does his 3rd skill do? How OP is it? If it reduces base armor and magic resist, is it inefficient because you have to throw your physical body for that armor reduction to happen? and also, the W is 10 sec duration, is it enough time to get your allies in position to do magic damage? The Q was buffed with more damage, is it good to max it by level 7?
I noticed that pros build is WQW then E Q R Q Q E E E. is this good? or should i replace E with more points in W? What do you guys think?

Any Gyro support enjoyers here? What item and skill build do you suggest? I think he falls off mid game to late game with support items like FS, or Glimmer only? Do you rush the 15 min shard on him? What tips and tricks can you suggest during the laning stage? I think he exposes himself when he goes near the target during rocket barrage. I just noticed I sometimes out of position with this hero but thanks for his innate. Also, do you take a point of Flak Cannon during the laning stage? I think the cooldown nerf really dramatically affected Gyro for some reason. Can I be the 4th core in the late game? Thanks for all tips. :)

Currently having a lose streak and down by 700 mmr. I am an old school player and have been inloved with warcraft 3 Dota up to Dota 2 now. What concerns me is that sometimes there are days where I have several games that end up losing even when ahead and it hits me hard and i feel down. I have read in reddit that to have still that love, like and motivation for the game, one should remember that "If I lose or win this single game, will I still play? or that doesn't change the fact that life goes on win or lose. It is just another game of Dota.

Anyways, i am just getting emotional. What are your quotes for resilience during stormy days?

With the removal of Eternal Shroud, is this item a worthy replacement for heavy magic damage when one cannot do Pipe, since it is pricey item? Which heroes clearly benefit from this? My thoughts are BB, Tide, sometimes Axe, Centaur. I also sometimes see Razor or DP, Viper doing it. What is the rationale behind and how do you play with this item and what is the timing?

I had an opponent last night where he went straight boots and tangos starting items. He got level 1 Upheaval and just do Upheaval things to harass us in the offlane as it is so difficult to stun him when he hides in the trees. Is this considered a bad practice as it shoves the wave or can you just Upheaval the enemy heroes so that they coudn't reach for last hits?

Is it ok to spam tangos when playing offlane? Or should you rush ring of health and then to vanguard and other ROH build ups? Also do you first item faeri fire?
What are the conditions in which you:

1. Make Bracers
2. Make Magic wand and munch tangos and health pots
3. Just Rush Phaseboots or treads
4. ROH items

For defensive measures mostly, when you are just getting poked and cant do lane.

Any SB offlane enjoyers here? Can you share some tips of how to itemize and how to lane with this hero? What are the starting items? Does he only need to survive the laning stage and get some levels or does he have a kill potential in lane? Also, how do you farm with this hero early because he is a like a bash luck bot in the starting minutes?

What does he mean that late game condition doesn't really mean anything vs a team that has a massive gold advantage?
