Add an option to enable a "Default Skins" mode in Dota 2.

• Performance Drops: New cosmetics and custom effects cause random FPS drops. For example, the Puck Illusory Orb effect on some skins drops my framerate down to 20 - 30 FPS from a stable 120 FPS.
• Ruined Glance Value: Certain arcana sets, like those for Venge and Sky, red viper and green DK look almost identical. This completely ruins the "glance value" required to identify heroes instantly.
• Pay-to-W/L Cosmetics: Items like the CM dog persona skins is pay to lose, as you can see the pet running across the screen when ever you tp /gate. ES Q showed number of people hit even in fog of war so you can blink echo.
• Broken Animations: Certain skins for Monkey King make it impossible to clearly see his abilities or last hit animations.

Adding a toggle to turn off custom cosmetics would significantly reduce random new bugs, improve game performance, and glance value.

I do. You get to play games and win items, then play more games and win more items. Also lore. Next I suggest Rubick vs Aghanim event for the items and the lore.

It has finally dawned on me that the issue of rampant smurfing, boosted players, and terrible match quality in ranked party mode will never change. And for one simple reason: there are a LOT of closeted smurfs now. The mentality of smurfing has changed for many people, at least behind closed doors. A lot of them think they are excluded from calling themselves smurfs because "I have to play on this account to play ranked with my crusader friend" or a similar excuse.

Turbo has slowly killed casual unranked for a long time. Groups that may want to play unranked due to having huge gaps in mmr can't find matches because no one is playing it. If they do manage to find a game after a long wait, the match quality will probably be terrible. The higher ranked friend feels "forced" to get a smurf account so they can even get into a match with one another.

There is a vicious cycle here that results in so many boosted players and further ruins the match quality. The cherry on top is lack of a seasonal mmr system.

Hi guys! I want to get TI production interested in using my riddles for the between-games segments, for fun with the panel or the crowd! It's hard to judge how many would be too many and spoil the show if my riddles make it to TI. If you want the full list for yourself to try out, just ask! I main Winter Wyvern, which means a ton of healing/target-selection under pressure. Because of illusion-heavy heroes (Naga, PL, etc.), clicking directly on a hero model to target a heal is often unreliable, so I rely on the top bar portraits (the panel showing each team's ult and TP status) to pick the right target instead.

The problem: the order of portraits in that panel seems random every game. I can't build consistent muscle memory for "position 3 heal" or "target the offlaner" because their portrait position keeps changing.

Feature request: let us manually reorder those portraits, similar to Grid in WoW. Ideally:

• Pin myself to a fixed slot
• Sort by position (1-5) consistently every game
• Drag-and-drop to set a custom order that persists

This would make support gameplay (healing, saves, dispels) so much more consistent, especially for heroes like Winter Wyvern where precise, fast targeting matters a lot.
