Video feed goes black on different sources and will only come back under certain circumstances

Currently trying to watch mortal Kombat 2 on my 4k tcl Roku TV. My dad is also trying this on his 720p TV. This has happened on multiple different shows and movies before. Whenever a source is selected the video is just black. Only exception to this and when backing out the delay in the app shows a frame or two of the video or just waiting like 5 minutes for it to come on for only a few seconds. It's not seeming to be certain sources or shows either so I'm honestly confused here. Anyone have this happen to them?

For reference, this is Timmy. He has a lot of toys and another cat that he plays with frequently. Yet he keeps biting my fingers and arms. What are some good methods to get him to stop, he seems to not care about how you feel after being bit so telling him not or acting like it hurt doesn't work.

My red cipher controller that I bought around August of 25 is running into a similar problem my old green one had before it got stuck drift, it will randomly disconnect during play sessions. The way I fixed the green one was by doing a firmware update but after attempting that on the cipher it didn't work. Only other difference was that my green one was only ever used back on my series s console and I am now strictly on pc. I do have a Linux Windows dual boot and have not tested wether my bazzite will do the same. And yes, it's windows 11. Any help appreciated
