SAT commercial diver supervisors

What is the general feeling on guys who were SAT divers in 70s and 80 mostly in SE Asia and some in Middle East waters, who temporarily retired by the 90s due to job prospects then, but returned in the 2000s as sought after supervisors offshore?

Party scene in the 70s and 80s

Anyone here old enough to remember the club and party scene in Singapore in the late 70s and 80s? Please share what you remember about it- like where you all went, what the scene was like, people that were in it, etc.

Was it mostly Singaporeans? Was there an influx of foreigners (and which type, if so?), was drug use common?, were there a lot of Singaporean women ending up with western men during these times?

Expectation vs. Reality: The Legendary Delta Short Rib™️

Was told the short rib was a great choice, it was premium… Tasted and looked like the Banquet TV dinners my mom used to give me when she didn't want to cook in 1998. Half the meat was super tough, middle part was super soft and fatty. Bone appétit.

Bread was hot on one side, melted the butter packet beneath it.

The cake was bitter and almost inedible after second bite.

Highlight of meal: green beans and the roasted pepper.

Additional note:

They brought me someone else’s chicken meal first. After receiving it, realized it wasn’t my meal and hit the call button, and they came back and replaced it for my beef meal and said oops we meant to give this to someone else! It was a full flight. I didn’t touch that meal but had it in front of me for a few minutes and wonder if they gave that same meal to someone else…
