Just tried these beans fo the first time. Mamma mia! It’s like a syrup, one of the thickest dark roast shots I ever pulled.

18/36, 8sec preinfusion, 30s brew time, 92.5 degrees. Made on my Flair 58+2.

The Lumin T2 -> Luxman l507z -> Tannoy Glenair 15 chain sounds like pure magic. As an addition I kept my Schiit Freya+ as an optional preamp with Luxman separated power amp mode. Adds very nice spice to jazz and acoustic.

I used to drive BW702s signatures with a Topping Pre90-B200 stack which sounded awesome, but boring and highly clinical in long sessions. I used to be very much into that transparent, clean representation, then over the years, after listening to many different systems I realized I was missing out on romance so I started to lean towards modern vintage, which the Luxman and Tannoy blends perfectly for me.

Extremely happy with the upgrade, not so my wife, who helped me bringing these 45kg badboys up the narrow stairs to my attic home office :)
