I’m a new SW user. Got lifetime pro.
I’m finding that it randomly does not follow rules.
For instance, one of my rules is numbers must always be rendered as numerals. If I dictate “one slash one slash twenty twenty” I should get “1/1/2020”. And most of the time I do…until I don’t.
Yesterday after this rule was working for quite some time continuously in a single suddenly it throws “1/1/twenty twenty”.
I’ve also told it not to alter my grammar but sometimes it does.
Is there a trick I’m missing?
It seems to be getting worse too.

I’m looking to consolidate and organise my advices submissions and notes in a searchable form.
I’m tired of reinventing the wheel when an issue I looked at 5-10 years ago presents itself.
My plan is to upload every document (pdf and word) to some AI “system”.
Obviously I must preserve confidentiality.
I started on AnythingLLM but it became very fiddly.
Has anyone tried this type of thing?
Has anyone got some insights or suggestions?

My MacBook silicon mouse pointer randomly stops responding.
Usually happens with only the trackpad as input.
I can overcome it by plugging in a wired mouse.
Trackpad will often - but not always - work and start working again with mouse plugged in.
Lack of responsiveness in the pointer makes it extremely difficult to reboot but even so problem persists with no pointer response even from start up.
Very rarely happens when using a Bluetooth mouse.
Essentially means I have to take a wired mouse with me.
When I last had a Mac there was PRAM reset but this seems to have disappeared with silicon.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
