they've done it again
I was having the absolute worst day at work today. I was keeping it together well but honestly felt like giving up. someone switched the radio on and I was thinking "well it's good to finally have something on in the background but it's not like any of my favourite 80s music will come on... not like duran duran". the next thing I know I'm hearing "ta na na, the reflex, the refle-fle-fle-fle-fle-flex". I thought there's no way, I've got to be imagining that. but nope it really was the sound of duran duran gracing my ears. it instantly put me in a good mood because 1. duran duran and 2. what are the chances of them coming on the radio exactly when I need it most? I haven't heard them on the radio since 2022 when I heard HLTW! it was the universe giving me my sign, I think 😂🥰
what about you guys... have you ever heard duran duran or even another band somewhere or sometime you weren't expecting to?

[05/07/26] Duran Duran @ BST Hyde Park
hey guys, I'm a 21 year old girl from Edinburgh here alone for duran duran on sunday. I am a massive fan and queueing at 10am for the barricade, wondering if there's anyone (golden circle ticket holders) else queueing for barricade who'd like to do it with me?
if you're GA or just not going, I have no plans while I'm here and it would be nice to meet up for drinks or something with anyone else in their 20s. I'm here until tuesday. I literally just got to my hotel room, I'm staying next to the north side of hyde park. I have no plans for this evening but will probably venture out anyway in an hour or so!
