To start this off one of my budgies is very loving towards the baby of the group and DOES mouth feed him a lot, usually with tons of spillage. This morning i cleaned the cage and found these at the bottom. Ive seen them all poop normally since then bc the bottom was clean and easier to see it, but i cant tell if the picture depicts dried poop with seeds in it (health concern) or just some dried throw up. Ive seen my birds sick and no one is acting that way in any shape or form. But obv they are sneaky babes.

pretty sure that was a drinking dish but they disagreed.

edit: After the second day he started acting and looking his normal self. If anyone else is in this situation, I kept him warm and when his energy was especially low i gave him an electrolyte solution (easily find the recipe online if u want to make it). He got so active after that and started eating like crazy.

Little guy is looking a little disheveled as he is going thru his first molt. I noticed some recent changes: keeping a little quieter and playing less aswell as the puffiness you see here. its already mid to high 70’s in my apt because i want to keep him warm. Besides that he is still eating seeds and spinach, albeit kind of slowly. I added more food and water containers incase he is lazy. He still moves around and preens himself aswell as follows his friends wherever they go. Do birdies normally go thru this?

Little guy is going thru his first molt, looking all raggedy. Noticed today that with the new feathers growing in he is a little less active. Still eating and moving around, just not playing as much, and being more mean to his friends. Is this normal? I can imagine it is draining to grow more feathers so maybe thats it.

Cant skate but loves to sit, probably dreaming of his pro skate career
