Hope you are well, I read your stories and I am horrified and sad for what your in laws are putting you through.i am relieved I don’t go through any of that!
I just wanted to know if it was normal to go to their dinner almost every Sunday and never get a genuine nice comment from mother in law.
I try to put myself together nicely and never hear a kind word. I am a black woman who changes hairstyles often , I work with the public and they always bombard me with nice comments. Never anything from her.
While I’m no Beyoncé or Naomi I don’t think it’s that hard not to find something nice to say at least once.
I know I should not let it bother me, and focus on the fact that she is nice to me but I can’t help but feel sad.
What are your opinions on this ?
