AI Fatigue

Anyone else getting AI fatigue? I was working with a client to develop a pretty interesting solution for their product, and asked for some tech specs. I got back a ridiculous 10 paragraph AI-generated response that conflated lighting concepts with camera concepts, showed a complete lack of understanding of camera specs, video specs, etc., and get an audio spec using language I've never seen before when discussing basics like mics, mixers, amps, speakers, and sends. It would take me longer to deconstruct the email than it would to just shoot out a quote, so that's what I did, and then they sent a response with another long set of questions that don't make sense. I walked it because I just don't have the mental bandwidth to realign their questions with reality. This isn't the first time, and I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing this too.

ISO Singer for 9/11 Event

Hi Berklee family,

'04 Alum here, currently in the production world. I have a client who is helping organize a 9/11 event that is a call to action for service rather than a memorial, and looking for a singer to sing "America The Beautiful" a cappella at the event. This is a paid gig. Here are the details:

"As background, this year’s Boston Meal Pack for 9/11 Day, is when nearly 1,200 local volunteers from throughout the Boston community will be joining together to pack nearly 400,000 meals for people who are food insecure in our community.

9/11 Day was inspired by the spirit of unity, service and common humanity that arose in the days following the events of 9/11/01.  More than 30 million Americans participate each year in this annual day of doing good! You can learn more about this inspiring observance by visiting 911day.org.

Our 2026 Meal Packing events will all take place on Friday, 9/11 in 50 different cities - mobilizing more than 50,000 volunteers to pack up to 20 million meals for those in need in their communities. At each of these projects, including in Boston, we include a special ceremony in tribute to those lost and those who rose in service after the tragedy. We will have 2 packing sessions on the day (session #1 is from 9-11am and sessions #2 is from 1-3pm) which both begin with a 10 minute opening ceremony, followed by a 20 minute training and then 90 minutes of meal packing and fun with a DJ, etc. All of the meals packed through the course of the day will be distributed to local families in need by The Greater Boston Food Bank."

Hit me up if interested.

Consolidate visible layers shortcut

Is there a function that takes all of the visible parts of a layer and consolidate them with the visible parts of other layers?

I’m not sure if I’m asking this correctly. But if I have a video clip spanning three minutes of layer one, and have different 3 second clips on layer two and three feathered throughout, is there a command or process that quickly and accurately takes the clips from the other layers and inserts them into layer one?

Obviously, this is something I can drop and drag, but I was just curious if there was a quick command for it or a set of keys strokes I could build into a macro that would get it done.
