DOES THE HUNGER FOR ACADEMIC VALIDATION STOPS

'Yung peace of mind, it sounds nice, right? That's what I crave—at least what I want to.

When does the hunger for academic validation actually stop for someone who has lived by it since a little kid?

I REACHED MY DREAM BUT AT AT WHAT COST

Ever since I could remember, my dream has always been to study at the University of the Philippines. Kasi hello, UP na yan oh.

I am an academic achiever during my elementary and high school days. I can even reach regional competitions. I graduated as the batch valedictorian with MANY awards. Girl, my chest was flooded with gold medals during our graduation.

I will make sure that everything will go according to plan.

But now that I'm here, I'm starting to question myself if I am really deserving of my spot. Do I really belong here?

Lahat pala talaga ng nandito mahuhusay. From being the smartest in the room, I now feel like the dumbest, weakest, and most innocent person in the room. Ang hirap makipagsabayan, ang hirap makipamuhay.

I told myself before na iiwanan ko na yung pagiging overzealous ko sa academics—that I would stop living for academic validation.

Should I have dreamt for less?

Do I really belong here?

DOST VS CHED

Hello po! I just passed the DOST SEI scholarship pero I'm hesitating to take it since sabi po ng iba ay mas mataas daw po ang makukuha sa CHED. Which is better po ba talaga between DOST and CHED, generally?🥹🥹
