being unaware is better ig

I think that too much awareness or being too much aware way too early is not okay for someone like it takes away ur joy. I see people around me who are delusional, like not delusional per se but like they so much unaware. But they are "happy" which im not. I see them laugh over silly things. I see the waste money over useless and worldly things and im like are they stupid or what. Like for me those things make them happy and being happy is i guess what matters in ur life and if they're getting their happiness from those things, good for them.

For me, i don't find happiness like in general. The best thing i can say for me is to sit with a couple of my friends and talk about random shit and that makes me happy for a while cuz that makes me forget about the shit about which im mostly worried and think about most of the time. Other than this time, neither am i happy nor do i talk alot.

I guess this is the very reason i hate coming home and avoid confronting things.

Good people still exist in this country. Story time!

Hello everyone! Hope ya'll are well. I'm a 19 yo engineering student at NUST. I went through a road accident that could have turned out to be very bad two days ago.

So, my friend came to uni from sialkot after 3 months and asked me to meet him to which I agreed. I left from my home around 1 pm on indrive(bike) cuz it's cheap and faster as compared to the cars, guess I was not taking safety into account. My mom was always scared of me going on a bike to uni cuz it's dangerous, I never understood her until recently.

So when I reached golra-mor, the driver used his phone for a second and the very next second he had crashed his bike into a taxi parked on the side of the road. I was hurt but not more than him. His lips were hurt, bruises on his face, elbows and hands. Me? I had scratches on my elbows, bruises on my forehead, chin and hands and due to the sudden jolt my back was hurting. Fortunately, it wasn't anything serious but still I was bleeding, sitting on the pavement, surrounded by people asking, "WHAT HAPPENED??!?! AND NOT HELPING US." The taxi driver started fighting with the indrive driver and started asking for money, which was fair cuz he was a poor guy. Amidst all this, a guy stopped by and helped me walk all over to his car. My hands were shaking cuz of adrenaline shoot. He paid the taxi driver for the loss and also took the indrive driver into the car.

From there he took us immediately to a clinic in g-13 where we treated. I had called my friend who was at nust and told him about the situation, he came to the clinic asap with another friend who was with him. The guy who brought me to the clinic had even paid for the medical bills, tho i was insisting to pay him back but he didn't accept the money. I was surprised that good people still exist in this shitty country who are willing to help people. I was genuinely about to cry and wanted to hug that guy but couldn't cuz i was in pain. I lied to my mum at home about the sitation, told her that i slipped off from a moving shuttle cuz ik she'd have reacted alot emotionally.

This was something for me, I still get flashes of the moment the bike crashed into the car and me staring at my hands full of blood n all. Tho it wasn't serious but genuinely scary. I don't know what to say to that guy apart from the fact that this country needs people like him
