Best way to clean mixing console parts?

I work as a tech at a high school, and I’ve got two mixing desks where there’s.. issues. The main issue that seems to be shared by both of them is neither is outputting from left channel to monitors. There’s misc crackling pots and faders too. I want to clean the desks to see if it’s just something that needs cleaning out as opposed to a physical problem, opening them up is something I’d rather avoid if I can.

I got the WD40 Contact Cleaner but I’m coming to the conclusion it’s either not the right thing, or I need something else as well. I’ve seen suggestions for DeOxit but then
I’m stuck on if I need D5 or F5 or both etc etc. I’d appreciate any pointers before I start attempting anything

I'm primarily a concert photographer, typically use an RF 24-70mm f2.8 and R6ii. Considering adding the above lens to my kit for when I shoot more challenging small, darker-than-usual venues. Does anyone have any insight on how fast the AF is? I ended up getting rid of my RF 35mm f1.8 because it wasn't as fast as I needed it to be in some darker conditions. If not the Sigma, is it worth trying to go for one of the Canon 35mm L lenses? Open to other suggestions.
