Flooring to be Laid On Not Fully Dried Screed?

Hello all. This isn’t strictly DIY, but am hoping for some advice on a floor we are supposed to be having laid.

Fitters came at 1730 Monday to screed the floor. Said it would be walkable in 8 hours. Nearly 40 hours later, it is still visibly not dry, and lifts if you put a foot on it.

I’m saying this doesn’t look dry enough to fit flooring onto - phoned company, who said they want to come anyway to “have a look and see if it is ok”.

I’m looking for advice from someone who knows more than I do - just preparing for possible “don’t worry mate, that will be ok” from the fitter.

Thanks in advance!

Mark Lanegan - Whiskey for the Holy Ghost

I somehow only heard this for the first time about 2 1/2 years ago. Bloody brilliant this is.

Sufjan Stevens - Carrie & Lowell

New purchase. My 12-year-old recently introduced me to a song they have discovered and now love. It was “Fourth of July” from this album (which was new to me). This reminded me of how much I loved “Illinois” back in the day, and also introduced me to this wonderful record… man, I love that kid with all of my heart.

Sometimes I think I have done a decent job as a parent

Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine

One of the few very-much-not-metal albums that metalhead 13 year old me would openly admit to loving. Still excellent all these years later.

Depeche Mode - Violator

I know, I know - the most basic of the basic, but everyone loves it for a reason.

Got new speakers today, and treating myself to this!

Rocket From the Crypt - Scream, Dracula, Scream!

New arrival today, and one I had been hoping for a reissue of for years… pure nostalgia for my days as a 15-year old punk (or so I imagined myself anyway)

Anyone go to Southampton Tonight?

It was my first time seeing Frank and I absolutely bloody loved it. I had a feeling that given it was more or less his hometown show he would play Wessex Boy, and it was so, so good to hear it live. From looking at recent setlists, I wasn’t expecting I am Disappeared, and when he played those opening chords I basically squee’d like a little girl. Brilliant.

My 12-year-old’s first proper gig - she loves Frank, and us pogoing together at the end of Polaroid Picture is an absolute core memory for me now.

I loved the whole thing - shout out to American Hi-Fi and Bowling for Soup too. I didn’t go to see them, but they both put on a great show.
