I came from a wordsy marketing career before getting into flipping, and about two years into the game I still feel really overwhelmed with tracking sales and cost of goods.

I keep most receipts and try my best to log everything down, but I just find it really tedious and time consuming so I procrastinate and sometimes put off the task of logging sales and receipts into a spreadsheet until the end of the month.

How do y’all stay on top of it?

I was a full-time freelance writer for about 8 years and made decent money. After a period of burning out and losing client contacts due to company layoffs, I shifted gears in 2025 and started a reselling business. Lately, I’ve been thinking back about getting back into writing on a part-time basis, or at least picking up some other type of work that will give me the flexibility to make money remotely. Is it possible to get my feet wet again, or has the industry drastically changed beyond the point of no return? TBH, I really don’t want to spend my time engineering prompts and editing AI slop.

(FWIW, I mostly worked in editorial and content writing, two fields I suspect have been heavily impacted by AI, lol.)

I started crosslisting items to Poshmark just a month ago and last week, I found that the platform had withheld payment from four orders that had been delivered for weeks. I tried contacting support several times with the affected order numbers and the cases were closed without resolution.

Just the other night, I saw that one of the delivered orders was marked as “cancelled” and that my entire closet had disappeared without ANY notification. I tried emailing Posh support again and reaching out to them on Facebook. Do I have any other recourse from this point forward?

As someone who mostly sells on eBay and Etsy, I’m baffled by the lack of customer service and transparency on this platform.
