Portable charging port - pin came off

Oh great the portable 120v charging port adapter - the ground pin broke and is there a way to fix this?

Do I need to replace this with completely new cable now or can this be fixed?

What are prices these days if I need to get new one?

QSC NC Series Cameras into Core with no encoders

Just wanted to confirm if this is correct. I take it if you add QSC NC Series cameras <networked> being managed through the QSCCore using the USB bridging option for Zoom meetings.

does this mean that i dont need encoder going into camera as core can take the input from either camera and output to display and have controlled through the USB bridging into core?

example:

QSC NC-Series cameras x3 (Networked> --> switch
QSC Core24F or 110f <Networked> with USB bridge for Zoom Room

Encoders are only applied to input devices like PCs and decoders to Displays.

Questions?
i take it with this setup, I Can route any camera to any display right from the QSC touch panel?

I take it it works fine with either using Visionary Encoders/Decoders or use QSC Encoders/Decoders

I can control the Zoom room directly from the qsc touch panel, i believe there is some integration between qsc and zoomRoom instead of using iPads to run Zoom Controller.

has anyone completed qsc camera setup with no encoders.

Nginx-reverse proxy - first time setup

I am working other teams in IT to come with proof of concept to implement Nginx-reverseProxy setup.

Current setup:
- we have external vendor who is posting some JSON/XML data directly to IoT devices using https method.
- IoT devices has internal CA certificate which I upload when it expires and webUI I visit is through https://IP:3000

-this could issue since cert. expires more sooner in coming years.

Proof of concept:
- instead of posting to IoT devices directly, we are thinking of posting data(json,#s) directly to NGINX-ReversProxy and then have nginx send same data to internal IP to IoT devices instead.

I take this is possible with NGINX and then I don’t have any make any changes the way IOT devices are setup.

Current workflow is working and I’m hoping not to change much from IoT devices configuration.

We are upgrading our room to support more hybrid meetings, and currently have an older, smaller Crestron touchscreen. We’ve decided to add a newer Crestron 1070 TP touchscreen.

What is the average cost these days to transfer the existing programming and user interface from the old touchscreen to the new one, with some minor changes? Initially, we planned to keep the existing UI as it is, but now we want to redesign it using a simpler UI concept from another room. We have another room which we would like to take GUI UI to this room.

Is a budget of $1,000 sufficient for this work?

Note: We already have the GUI interface and programming ready to be integrated into the new room. So integrator doesn’t have to come up new design, all GUI files, images will be provided, they will make changes based on what’s inside the room.

https://www.qsys.com/alliances-partnerships/logitech/

I was looking at the link above and does anyone know Qsys Cameras with this setup can do Auto Tracking? like follow the presenter, and other camera can track the audience by picking up thier voice?

- with MS Teams hybrid setup, can it do group framing? similar to how logitech does its group vs presenter framing?

- Can it be setup with multiple Shure Ceiling Mics instead of Sennheiser?

- instead of 2 large displays, can it connect to NEC Projector instead?

the room would be more Training Room with divisible partition to make it combined vs single mode.

- can we add x2 front wall speakers next to the projection screen?

its kind like Training room with divisble partition, and add projector instead of 2 large displays.

With many AV manufacturer now coming up with their own techs for large training rooms like Qsc, Logitech AI + Qsc, Crestron 1Beyond, switches, BYOD, Shure has their own large training ro options. Shure also has its own solutions for large training rooms.

We have an empty space that will be transformed into a training room, which can be merged into a single area using a divider.

What is the simplest way to set this up these days?

Here are some requirements we have:

- A laser projector with 10-17k lumens

- 2-3 Shure ceiling microphones

- Networked speakers installed in the ceiling

- Compatibility with MS Teams Rooms

- BYOD support with USB-C and one AirMedia device as a backup.

-Wall plate HDMI for content sharing only.

- One touch panel

- Shure wireless handheld microphones for Q/A sessions—either lavalier or handheld

- Two front wall speakers positioned side by side.

We prefer a solution that maximizes AVoIP capabilities and includes AI-ready cameras that track the presenter.

How do Crestron and Logitech/QSC compare in terms of integration flexibility?

We mainly are creatron focused and Logitech for small/mediuk sized, but not much when it comes to large training rooms.

I see Qsc website they have Logitech integration, but how flexible is this?

We have outdated autonomic mirage mms-2a media server which holds music and radio stations through and it stopped working.

It won’t let me update firmware and unable to stream any FM stations.

Connected using RCA TO RCA to biamp Nevia dsp/crown AMP to outdoor speakers.

Its managed through Crestron RMC/TS770 UI

I wanted to see what option I can get to replace outdated hardware to get maybe like all in once appliance kit which can make it more digital through network stream.

Does Crestron offer simple solution to have less hardware, play local/radio music channels through multiple radio channels through FM/spotify/siriusXM options?

I still prefer the hardware to provide me list of options to choose from to add subscriptions for Music streaming.

It’s crestron NAX solution any good?

Or is there another solution?

I would still prefer to use the touch panel to control music.
