I went to 3 entrepreneurial conferences in the past year... all in las vegas..

Almost 90% of the people I spoke to were doing businesses that want to help you scale your business to to some $ amt.

But what i don't understand is that, how can you help someone business if you never had a business that you scaled one yourself?

Honestly I didn't even feel like taking on even one of them.

Am I wrong to feel this way?

Walked away from a startup after making 1M in revenue

I made over $1M in revenue with my first startup.

From the outside, it looked like success.

But deep down, I realized I wasn’t building something I truly cared about anymore.

So I walked away and started over.

This time, I wanted to build something more human.

Something centered around people, ideas, ambition, and connection.

That became Venturoo.

Sometimes the hardest part of entrepreneurship isn’t failing.

It’s having the courage to leave something successful to build what actually matters to you.

built an app for 18 months. launched to 11 users. one of them became our biggest case study.

Spent the first year convinced the product wasn't ready. Kept adding features nobody asked for. My co-founder kept saying ship it. I kept saying one more thing. We finally launched Venturoo quietly. No press. No campaign. Just posted in two small founder communities.

11 people signed up in the first week. I was embarrassed. Told myself it was a soft launch and moved on.

One of those 11 sent me a voice note 3 weeks later. 7 minutes long. Walked through exactly how she was using it, what was breaking, what she wished it did. She wasn't complaining. She was invested. I called her back the same day. We spent 45 minutes on the phone. Rebuilt two core flows based entirely on that conversation.

She now runs a team of 9 and routes every new member through Venturoo on day one. Sent us 14 referrals without us asking.

The version of the app i was so proud of before launch? She would have churned in a week. The version we built after listening to her? That's what actually works.

Stop protecting your idea from real users. The ones who show up early and tell you the truth are worth more than a thousand downloads from a viral post. Build for them first.

The thing that surprised me most after launching a startup app

A weird thing happened after launching Venturoo.

I thought people would mostly use it to promote businesses or network.

But a lot of conversations started from unfinished ideas.

Not polished startups.
Not pitch decks.
Just random thoughts people had for years but never told anyone.

One person posted an idea and said:
“I’ve been thinking about this forever but always assumed someone else would build it.”

That honestly stuck with me.

I think there are so many future companies sitting in people’s heads right now that never happen because people don’t have the right environment around them.

Not lack of intelligence.
Not lack of ambition.

Just no momentum.

Building the app taught me people want a place where they can talk about ideas before they become “real.”

And honestly, that matters more than I realized.

What's your idea?

I genuinely think one of the biggest reasons ideas die is because people never have an environment to explore them.

A lot of people have thoughts like:

“Someone should build this.”

“This would actually solve a problem.”

“I’d start this if I had a team.”

…and then the idea disappears.

That’s why we created Venturoo — a platform centered around entrepreneurs, idea sharing, cofounder matching, networking, and public startup discussions.

One thing that surprised us after launch:

People don’t just want to promote startups.

They want a place to talk about unfinished ideas without feeling stupid.

We’ve already seen users posting raw concepts, getting feedback, finding collaborators, and improving ideas publicly.

Curious:

What’s one product idea you still wish existed? Be open.

Be Honest

How many of you out there constantly say:
- “I wish this existed.”

- “I’ve always wanted to build this.”

- “This could actually work…”

…but then stop because you don’t know where to start?

Honestly, there are probably millions of unrealized businesses sitting in people’s heads right now.

Not because the ideas are bad.

Because people don’t have the network, cofounder, guidance, confidence, or environment to take the first step.

That’s one of the biggest reasons we created Venturoo, a mobile app built just for entrepreneurs.

We kept realizing there are talented people everywhere with ideas, skills, and ambition — but no real place focused on helping them connect, discuss ideas openly, find collaborators, and actually start building.

Some of the smartest ideas don’t come from big companies or Silicon Valley.

They come from random conversations with everyday people.

Share your thoughts.... Please be honest

Never gave up.

Started Venturoo by myself with just an idea.

Today, it’s grown into a 4-person team and got recognized with the Entrepreneurial Excellence Award at the Founders 2.0 Conference in Las Vegas.

Crazy to think how far things can go when you just keep building.

If you want to check out what we’re building, Venturoo is available on both iOS and Android 🚀

Life Changed

One conversation inside Venturoo completely changed how someone viewed their business idea.

They went from doubting whether anyone cared to suddenly having founders giving feedback, asking questions, and wanting to collaborate.

That’s when our team realized: sometimes people don’t need funding first — they need proof they’re not building alone.

Start my entreprenuer journey with a lot of failures, unfinished ideas and people tell me things wouldn't work

Fast forward to now - i built Venturoo hired a team, launch the app, and recently started early seed funding conversations/support.

It's still very early but seeing something go from an idea in my head to a real company with real users has been crazy.

If you're failing right now keep going. Most people only see the result, not the years behind it.

If you guys want to try Venturoo, it's available on iOS and Android

One feature, our dev team added into Venturoo mobile app is called "Idea Hub"

The idea isn't about to post your full business blueprint or give away secrets.

It's more about:

* validating ideas

* gving feedback

* potential founders seeing if people actually care about the problem

* connecting with entrepreneurs interested in similar spaces

A lot of people never build because they are isolated with their idea for too long

We wanted to make that process more collaborative

Would love to hear what you guys think of this!

I've been building a platform focused only on entrepreneurs, founders and people with business ideas.

Think networking co founder, matching startup conversations and building with people who actually get.

Would love your honest feedback - is this something that you would use?
