Science fiction books from 1960-1990 donation

Hey everyone I’m in the process of helping my father clean out his house and he has thousands of science fiction books. The public library will only take 1 box a week and some of the covers are too sexy for what the library will accept. Any idea of another location that I could donate to? I’m not trying to make money here, just mostly show my father they are not being thrown away and that someone will appreciate them. Located in Massachusetts if that help

Does anybody know current standings in pork race?

I’ve always been a fan of Ham Bone but I’m betting against my family for tonight’s winner. Who do you think is going to win? For those who don’t know it’s an Iron Pigs thing.

I really hate pancreatic cancer

My mom passed in November from pancan. She was very sick and only lived 51 days after her initial diagnosis of stage 4. I’ve been riding the waves of grief and most days I’m feeling pretty okay. But some days really suck.

Today a customer of mine who hasn’t been by in a few weeks came to tell me that he’s been taking care of his wife who isn’t feeling well. He described her symptoms as mysterious abdominal pain, acid reflux, loss of appetite, fatigue among other things. Said they had her do an MRI and want to do a liver biopsy as there’s a weird thing with her liver as he described.

Just exactly what my mom was going thru a week before she got her diagnosis. I’m praying they get a different outcome. I wouldn’t wish this disease on my worst enemy.

Quit for a month in December then fell off wagon, now I’m having migraines

Hey yall, I posted a bit here in December when I first quit and it was helpful so I’m trying again. Basically the first time I quit it was so that I could get into a medical program I wanted to enroll in. Found out I wasn’t not a qualified candidate and it sent me right back to daily smoking. Once I relapsed I honestly started smoking more than when I first quit. Now I’m getting pounding migraines and my tummy always feels a little upset. Im thinking this is early signs of CHS. I want to quit but I don’t want to go thru painful detox again. Has anybody had success with tapering off to zero usage? I just read another post on a different sub that a woman had what I would describe as normal detox symptoms for about a month but then the next month had completely different more intense withdrawal symptoms and was diagnosed by a dr with “chronic withdrawal syndrome” where her face and extremities went numb along with other symptoms
