So I’m M23, and recently a new girl joined our department. She’s around my age too. And I think I developed a crush on her the first time I saw her.

At first, we just made eye contact a couple of times during the first few days after she joined. But lately, I’ve noticed her glancing at me pretty often, and when I look back, she doesn’t immediately look away. Sometimes when I’m talking with colleagues, I catch her just looking at me as well.

Now I’m confused about what to do. Should I just wait and see if she makes any sort of first move? We literally haven’t spoken yet and only exchanged eye contact lol. Or should I make a move myself? If this were college, I probably would’ve already taken my shot, but the corporate world feels different and honestly kind of intimidating. I was even thinking about sending her a friend request on Instagram, but I’m worried it might come off as creepy if she’s just casually looking at me and I’m overthinking the whole thing 😭
