Working on my first ever model and decided to start over, things were going relatively smoothly with this new model up until this point. The polygons on the head and neck do this weird warping when the head is tilted too far. This is for VRchat, so the head being able to move around correctly is kinda important.

What I have already tried:
- Editing weightpaints has no effect
- subdividing to add more polygons also has the exact same effect

Is there a faster way to clean this up? Or is it manual mode for me?

https://preview.redd.it/3bfwl0qu351h1.png?width=350&format=png&auto=webp&s=43e9c3f546b5f28f114f14c98058399156d3e107

Working on my first ever model so naturally I've made a couple mistakes along the way
When originally doing the textures I filled the entire thing with the base color before texturing over the UVs, so that left a lot of uneeded space covered.

This is whats left after deleting what is unecessary. I just stitched the last couple of textures together with the rest of it hoping it would clear out the space but it seems not

Do I have to manually move the uv and textures to clear that space? Clicking the clear unused texture space button does nothing but freeze up the program, I assume because my textures are higher in resolution than it would prefer. Theres a button that says "move texture with uv" but it doesnt do anything at all either. Any ideas to quickly clean this?

Is it possible to have a plane move like a sphere? Or turn it into a sphere that keeps similar geometry to what it has currently?

I'm working on my first ever model with the purpose of using it for VRchat. I haven't begun rigging yet because I'm still unsure how I plan on doing the eye tracking.

I did basically all modelling in blockbench (the other two screenshots), but this bit I'm sure is something only blender can help me with.

I want to turn this plane either into a thin sphere as shown in this video here , but still appear as a plane on the surface. I just need it so I can move this png that functions as his pupil basically

is there a way I can do this without starting fresh or carving holes into the model? I did the unfortunate mistake of texturing him already so remodeling these things is tricky.
