controversial baby names

i posted in this group a bit ago saying that mango elisabeth (elizabeth with an s for family/cultural reasons) was my guilty pleasure baby name and in the comments clarified i would never actually name a child that, but now it has me wondering if anyone else has names they think would be cute but would never actually use ? rather for fear of bullying, it’s an overall dumb name for a human, ect.

mango elisabeth

i have been into names since i was little, i used to buy baby name books at goodwill when i was a preteen. when i got pregnant with a girl i was ecstatic. i had so many name ideas i didn’t pick her name until she was literally born 😭 i landed on juliette elisabeth (my mom’s middle name is elizabeth but i have a friend whose grandmother immigrated and when she came to america they changed her name from eliSabeth to eliZabeth and i just loved the story) but i was in LOVE with mango elisabeth. i got a tattoo of a mango with juliette on it just to memorialize the sentiment. im glad in retrospect with the rise of awful names i chose julie but i will always love mango elisabeth 💔

just got a haircut

i just got a pretty decent size haircut (about three feet) to go all natural hair wise and invest in taking better care of it as i regrow it, feeling pretty insecure and wondering what i can do mostly makeup/small changes and what suits me better now that my hair shield is gone. also i know this sub hates tattoos forgive me in advance 💔 first picture is styled with light makeup, second is unstyled with none.

i have a beautiful two year old and my friends have had miscarriages

hi! i’m 22 and i have the most perfect two year old, i’m a stay at home mom so my life revolves around her. i post a lot about our activities, her outfit of the day, ect. recently two of my friends have came to me for advice and support through their miscarriages and of course i want to support them and help them my only issue is i fear im not the right person to help them through this. to be honest, i am not quite sure what to say past the “trust in god’s plan” and the typical “im so sorry and im here for you if you need an ear or a special outing”. they have never said anything to me about my advice being bad or that they feel as though im shoving my daughter in their faces but i want to be a better support system. if anyone has experienced a miscarriage i would love to hear the advice you needed to hear at the time and just generally how i could be a better friend to them in this.
