Another med to treat Qulipta anxiety?

Guys I am desperate. Qulipta is the only med that prevents my chronic *daily* migraines. I just started on 10mg down from 30mg because my anxiety and irritability on 30mg was unbearable.

The 10mg is equally effective at preventing my migraines but that also comes with the same side effects in full force 🥺

I need this to work. When not on Qulipta I’m taking so many triptans my Neuro is worried I’m going to have a heart attack. If I don’t take the triptans I am essentially disabled and in emerg unable to work or look after my kids…

Has anyone had similar side effects and they’ve gone away after time? Or successfully treated them with another med?

Adding another med is the last thing I want to do but if it means I stay migraine free then so be it.

Anyone have success on 10mg Qulipta?

I started on 30mg Qulipta for about 1.5 weeks. It was incredibly effective but I developed severe anxiety and irritability/rage so I discontinued. My Neuro wants to try 10mg. Anyone had success on 10mg? Side effects on 10mg?

36yo with 2.3cm BD-IPMN in neck

Hi all. I have a suspected 2.3cm BD-IPMN in the neck of my pancreas, found incidentally on CT in 2024.

I have done endless reading and research on this phenomenon but I’m looking for some real-world answers from people who have been surveilled for a few years already or are further along in this process than I am.

I don’t have any symptoms, high risk stigmata, or worrisome features, although the size is a borderline worrisome feature. I have had an MRI/MRCP with contrast since my initial CT. I am going for an EUS +/- FNA in a few days. My GI wants to do the EUS because of my age (36) and the size of the cyst.

I’m wondering:

  1. In your experience - how often is the FNA performed with the EUS? What has your doctor told you in this regard?

  2. Does your doctor do routine blood markers like CA19-9 or CEA as part of your surveillance? I understand they are non specific but can be informative.

Finacea magic

I’ve been struggling with stubborn hormonal acne for the last 4ish years - painful cystic acne on my jawline, cheeks, chin, and neck. I’ve had a few periods of time in those 4 years where it cleared up a bit but it always came back. From July 2025 until now I have had the worst flare to date. I read about Finacea 15% Azelaic Acid (prescription) on Reddit (can’t remember if it was this sub or another). After reading great reviews about it I decided to give it a go and wow. After only one week my acne has cleared by roughly 40%. I am hardly getting any new acne and watching the existing acne fade overnight. My skin looks and feels so soft and smooth and it evens out my tone as well. The redness and swelling and inflammation is gone. I am in disbelief over how well and how fast it’s working I feel like I could cry. I know it won’t be the answer for everyone but I wanted to post this in case it could help someone else.

I started Qulipta 1.5 weeks ago and have already had 3 migraine-free days (was daily before). After 17 years I thought this was finally it. Then I started experiencing insane anxiety and emotional dysregulation the last couple of days.

For those who experienced the same side effects, did you stick with it, and did it go away? Or did you have to come off? I’m on 30mg.
