Non-aerospace cmm inspection and programming jobs?

I have a certificate in CNC machining and now I do CMM inspection and programming. Are there jobs out there that involve CMM's and programming that aren't aerospace or defense related. I love my job and find what I do super cool and I'm constantly learning but I think I'm burning out due to the poor work life balance. I'm in Massachusetts and a large majority of the shops near or around here are all aerospace. Are there other routes or similar jobs out there? I'm unsure if I'm looking with the correct words or not.

Is work life balance even possible?

I work for an aerospace company doing inspection and programming and I'm just wondering if anyone in the machining field has found a good work life balance. I'm working 10hr days 5 days a week and between 4-6 hours on Saturdays (they say Saturday isn't mandatory but prefer to have people work). I've been in this field for almost 3 and a half years and I just want a normal schedule with 8hr days, I don't mind overtime but I'm genuinely exhausted

Salads

How can I force myself to eat salads? They looks good and I want to eat them but struggle with the appeal to cold foods or the textures I'm unsure. How did you get yourself to eat salads? I do know for sure I definitely don't like tomatoes and cucumbers

Moonlit goddess body scent

I am absolutely in love with the scent of this candle and I'm so upset they don't have it in a body spray. Do they have any similar scents? I'm looking for something new since I'm almost out of my discontinued fairytale.

Best things to check out on a 4 days trip

My boyfriend and I will be headed out to the Watkins Glen/ Seneca region for a few days and I was curious about what are some good places to eat and to check out/do. We do plan on going to the glass museum and checking out the waterfalls. Any other suggestions?

East Coast travel destinations

I'm from Massachusetts, and my boyfriend and I are looking for good trips to go on probably between 3-5 days long. Nothing too crazy expensive and no big cities preferably. We haven't taken any trip outside of New England (most gone to Cape Cod, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Lake George New York). We enjoy walkable towns, beaches or lakes to walk, hiking trails, winery's and enjoy exploring local hole in the wall restaurants or bars. Any advice on places to check out would be greatly appreciated.

Best summer weekend trips

I'm from western MA and my boyfriend and a I are looking for some new weekend trips to check out. We prefer to avoid the city but besides that we are open to any place.

To add: We've been to the Cape, we absolutely love Lake George. Preferably no major city or camping. We love little walkable towns. My Parents enjoy New Hampshire lake region and his parents have suggested Maine. We are looking into possibly doing Lake Sebago in Maine but I've heard mixed things. We are willing to drive whatever distance we love the time we have together.

Work ethic

I have a friend who's 26m and has been without a job for almost a year now. He got a job because he knew someone who worked at that company and he was there for about 5 years before he got fired. After he got fired he asked me about working where I work (this was before I knew the full details to why he got fired). So I put in a good word for him and my manager called him and made him an offer but it was for a position he didn't want but his skills don't meet what we do where I work but he thinks he has more skills and experience than our friend group. So he said no to that position. In the mean time he has not at least to my knowledge applied to any jobs because "he doesn't want to fill out online applications all day". Our friend group had on numerous occasions asked if he was doing okay (both mentally and financially). He has no drive or motivation for a job and it seems like he thinks one will just be handed to him and gets cocky about what he thinks he has for skills. We just want what's best for our friend but we don't know what else to do.

I'm 27F, growing up on have always been very flexible. As I've gotten older I've noticed my hands have always given me issues and it seems I'm now most flexible in my hands and wrists. I have also always worked heavy with my hands, I tore a tendon in my pinky finger back in high school but my mom dismissed me saying it's just a jammed finger there isn't anything you can do for it only for it to give me problems down the line. I'm just wondering who can I see about a possible diagnosis or test? And I'm curious about the ring splints and if they would do me any good
