My dog (an 11 year old Boxer) keeps pawing at her face. She will paw at it a few times and then go on her back and wiggle her back and head around on the carpet. I’ve noticed she does it more at night time. I can tell something is bothering her but I’m just trying to pinpoint what it is exactly based on her behavior. Last time I took her to the vet (not related to the face-pawing) the vet said that she has allergies so maybe that could be it? She also has had an abcess in her mouth (which was removed) as well as an ulcer in her eye (which has healed and scarred over). Does anyone else have any ideas?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me the best swimming lakes in mid to north eastern CT (I live in Windham). My brother’s are coming to visit next month and want to have a lake day at a beautiful lake somewhere around here. Suggestions not in eastern CT welcome too. I just moved here recently so I’m not too familiar with the state yet.
