Announcement by the Belgian Department of Economy
Citizens of Belgium, War is not only won by the biggest guns, the loudest speeches, or the people casually spamming the attack button. It is also won by the quiet heroes who look at their wallet and decide: “The government can have some of my hard earned money.” That is why the Department of Economy is launching a new campaign:
The Donation Marathon During the rest of this week, we will be tracking donations made to the country and turning them into something more than just another completed mission. This is not just about sending money. This is about helping the war effort, showing commitment, and giving everyone a chance to stand out. Even if you are knifing for damage, your contribution still matters. A small donation from a newer citizen can be just as meaningful as a larger donation from an older one. So instead of only looking at the biggest total donors overall, we want to make this more fair, more fun, and more motivating.
How will it work? During the marathon period which will last until the end of the week, donations will be tracked from the moment the event is officially announced. This means you can even donate right now!! To keep things fair, we are planning to divide the leaderboard into level brackets, so lower-level citizens are not forced to compete directly against high-level players with much larger incomes.
Level brackets:
Level 0–9
Level 10–14
Level 15–19
Level 20–29
Level 30+ Each bracket will have its own ranking, so everyone has a realistic chance to earn recognition. Only the top 10 of each bracket will be shown, try to get to that podium.
What do you get? Top donors in each bracket will receive a spot on the ranking in an article of the Department of Economy after the event. Because nothing says national unity like politely competing over who loves Belgium the most.
Important note This is about making the war effort more interactive and giving every citizen, from new recruits to veteran billionaires, a visible way to contribute. Whether you can donate 10, 100, 1,000, or enough to make the Minister of Economy start crying, your contribution matters. So prepare your wallets, check your missions, and get ready to be passes by your competitors at every turn.
Belgium fights together.
Belgium donates together.
Belgium financially bullies its enemies together.
