Hi ! Im doing research about school uniforms and stripes for a personal project and while researching I stumbled upon pictures of british school uniform that had (most of the time) burgundy, navy or white stripes, with different widths and order. Does anyone know what the colors are for ? What they represent ? I was told the colors represented the schools or colleges, is that true ? And what about the width of the stripe do they indicate something ? It's hard to find information about that kind of specific stuff on the internet so if you know or have the link to any website/blog that has this kind of info please let me know!! The more details the better!! I also linked some pictures to this post to show it better.
