Fiancé and I looked for a long time to find a truck that met all my “must haves” until we found this guy. I’ve named him Phil, as this was the original owners name and he unfortunately passed not too long after setting the truck out for sale - after which it sat for 9 years in a lot next to a diner.

1984 D250 4x4 manual side step - a beautiful unit. I’ve done a few things already and got the engine to turn over by hand, but still need to drain the old fuel and replace the battery terminals - among several other things lol I was told he ran excellent before sitting for 9 years and Phil took exceptional care of him before that. Hoping to get him running smoothly before my wedding in November so we can include him in the photos.

Anyone got one similar?

Walked the dogs this morning and saw a little shiny hole at the foot of one of my trees and got down to look and find this dude - what the heck is he/her?! I get grubs that roll into the garage sometimes, is this a later stage? His body looks like it probably has some bulk to it. Is it harmful to trees?

A few weeks ago someone posted on here, and excuse my memory as it could have been a top comment in another post, but I just wanted to take a minute to thank you to that user. The advice given was to round cut your nails while they’re growing out - I have always read and been told to cut nails straight across but this one small change has made a world of difference. So again, I tip my hat to you, whoever you are ❤️ my nail beds are a lot happier without the sharp edge created from cutting straight across, and there is a huge relief from the trigger of having an “edge” to mess with.
